FX-FR hub. single speed.
The single speed FX-FR hub is a new hub design.
A wheel built with the FX-FR hub at its core can be retro-fitted to most fixed wheel and single speed bikes on the road today.

A single handle bar lever allows the rider to switch between a freewheel ride ( default state ) and a fixed wheel ride ( engaged state ).

The FX-FR8 hub  – fast urban – concept bike.

A new multi speed transmission based on the FX-FR single speed hub.
The FX-FR8 introduces a new 8 speed transmission that allows the rider to switch between a freewheel ride ( default state ) and a fixed wheel state ( engaged state ) via a dual levered handlebar lever. 

A custom frame design fitted with a rear facing stirrup derailleur and a chain tensioning swing arm pivoting around the bottom bracket shell. 

This forms a chain loop that rides like a regular derailleur transmission and enables the FX-FR8 hub to freewheel or fix.

FOUNDER

I have been riding and tinkering with bikes most of my life. Having worked in the trade as a mechanic ( watching transmissions go round and round ) and matching customers to new bikes in retail. Qualifying as a product designer started a new phase of the journey. The FX-FR hub and 8spd transmission being the cumulative result of many strands of thought on the subject of human powered transport. How bikes, the parts and people enjoy the machines they own.

The FX-FR hub opens the way to riding a fixed wheel safely.
